MANaGER RISK & COMPLIANCE - Invercargill

Due to our continued growth and development, this role has been created to further develop SBS's risk management framework across our thriving business. Based in head office in Invercargill, this senior role is primarily responsible for managing credit, operational and legislation risk management policies and the ongoing review and monitoring of compliance with these policies.

You’ll be a self-starter comfortable taking on a high-profile role that will give you plenty of opportunity to influence the development of the business. You’ll have substantial knowledge of risk practices preferably gained in the finance industry. A relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification in the fields of law, finance or management is required or substantial relevant experience within a financial institution or similar organisation. Leadership experience will also be valuable for this pivotal role, which will lead a growing and evolving team.

PAYROLL / ACCOUNTS - Invercargill

Have you got a head for figures and want to cash it in for a great job? If you are more than just a numbers whiz and want to work with a team of fun and friendly people then this role has the right formula for you. Payroll and accounts payable/receivable make this role a well-rounded and fulfilling opportunity for someone who is friendly and customer-focused.

You'll have experience with payroll administration and processsing, ideally using PayGlobal software. You’ll understand the discretion and confidentiality requirements of the role and possess excellent attention to detail! Previous experience in processing and administration of debtors/creditors management and statutory compliance are desirable for this role. You’ll also have strong computer skills specifically in Excel, Word and accounting software packages along with well-developed communication and organisational skills.

This is a full-time fixed-term position to cover parental leave.

Analyst programmers / senior analyst programmers - invercargill

You will join a versatile, nimble and highly productive team focussed on sweeping across the organisation to transform our business processes and core systems to significantly enhance our business operations as quickly and as efficiently as possible.

You’ll have solid commercial experience in JADE development and be capable of contributing to significant business transformation projects from inception to implementation and beyond.

Additional skills and experience that would be advantageous include:
• Web/User interface development
• Content management and/or information architecture
• Modelling and/or process mapping
• Change control and documentation disciplines
• Conceptual/lateral thinking with a desire to contribute to business rather than just do the job

Banking industry experience would be the icing on the cake.

These positions are located in our Head Office in Invercargill, although we may consider a Christchurch location.
