Learning and Development

At SBS we have a strong commitment to learning and growth. Our "people first" philosophy means that we strive to provide a first-rate training and development program for our staff that includes both in-house and external training.

We provide a full and detailed orientation and induction program to ensure that new team members understand how the business operates and how their role fits into the overall mission of SBS.

We also believe that SBS people should drive their own development. For this reason people are encouraged to develop individualised personal development plans, identifying training needs and ensuring these are met in conjunction with their team leaders.

These training needs are then addressed by a variety of methods including on the job training, attending courses and conferences, modular learning, self-study, etc., as appropriate.
