Consumer Insurances
Income insurance is available that covers the borrower in the event of death, redundancy, accident, illness and hospitalisation. Subject to qualifying criteria, if they cannot work their loan payments are made on their behalf. The insurance is automatic acceptance so no medical checks or forms are required beyond ticking the box on the loan application form.
Chattels insurance is also available with hire purchase finance to cover the goods against loss, theft, damage etc. This insurance is simply purchased at the time a hire purchase loan is taken.
